Poland, State Railways - 1958

The insignias shown on Poland, State Raiways - 1954 existed for very short time. At first they have been changed in 1956, but unfortunately I have no graphical reference for presenting them. The next change occured on 25 Feb 1958 and according to the Minister of Transportation decret they were againn displayed on a collar patches. The color bar on the top of the patch is actually color piping made from textile and denotes the branch. The colors are as below:

1. red - Służba przewozów - transportation service
2. blue - Służba trakcji i wagonowa, zakłady naprawcze, Centralny Zarząd Zakładów Naprawczych - shortly speaking - trains maintenance and repairing
3. green - Słuzba drogowa i zakłady podległe Centralnemu zarządowi Utrzymania Kolie - shortly speaking railroad maintenance
   
4. orange - Służba zabezpieczenia ruchu i łączności i zakłady podległe Centralnemu Zarządowi Zabezpieczenia Ruchu i Łączności - shortly speaking - communication
5. violet - Służba administracyjna, słuzba zdrowia, pozostałe słuzby i personel szkół kolejowych - Administration, Health service, other services and personnel in railway schools
