The Kativik Regional Police Force is the service charged with law enforcement in the northernmost part of the Province of Quebec in Canada. It was created in 1996 with the participation of both the federal and provincial government as a way of giving back more powers to the mainly First Nations local authorities.
Insignias are worn on shoulder slides and although few in numbers, appear to follow the Sureté du Québec pattern. the following are reconstruction based on various picture.
Some pictures show a minor variation with "KATIVIK POLICE" written on 2 lines instead of one though its unclear if this was the result of different batches being ordered or a conscious change after a particular date.
