The service de police de la ville de blainville (SPVB) is the organisation tasked with law enforcement in the town of Blainville, Quebec, Canada
The town is located within the regional municipal county of Thérèse-De Blainville although Blainville is the only municipality to have retained an independent service, other municipalies being covered by either the Régie intermunicipale de police Thérèse-De Blainville or the Service de police intermunicipal de Terrebonne/Sainte-Anne-des-Plaines/Bois-des-Filion.
Uniform
The standard uniform of the SPVB is blue-black except for higher ranking officers who wear white shirts.
Insignias follow the standard progression used by municipal police forces in the province of quebec and are worn on soft shoulder slides.
Note that the insignias of the Directeur and Directeur-Adjoint, unlike other ranks, bear only the word "Blainville" . This might simply due to the new insignias having being introduced recently while other ranks still use older stock.
